Hamrah operates as a technology marketplace that connects clients seeking social companionship with verified, independent service providers ("companions") for lawful, platonic activities.

Our platform facilitates:

• Discovery and booking of companion services
• Secure payment processing via escrow
• In-app communication between parties
• Identity verification and safety features
• Virtual companionship through voice and video

Hamrah does NOT employ companions, direct their services, control their schedules, or supervise the activities during bookings. We are a facilitator, not a service provider.

The relationship between clients and companions is a direct service arrangement between two independent parties, facilitated by the Hamrah platform.

• Companions are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Hamrah
• No employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship exists between Hamrah and any user
• Hamrah does not control the manner, method, or means by which companions deliver their services
• Users interact at their own risk and are responsible for their own conduct and safety decisions

By using Hamrah, you acknowledge and accept the following:

• Personal Safety: While we implement extensive verification and safety features, you are ultimately responsible for your own safety. Exercise personal judgment in all interactions
• Due Diligence: Review companion profiles, ratings, and reviews carefully before booking. Ask questions through in-app chat to clarify expectations
• Public Spaces: We strongly recommend conducting first meetings in public, well-lit areas. Share your itinerary with a trusted friend or family member
• Communication: Keep all communication within the Hamrah platform. Sharing personal contact information is prohibited for your safety
• Emergency Situations: In case of immediate danger, contact local emergency services (1122 in Pakistan) first. Then use the in-app SOS feature or contact [email protected]

While Hamrah strives for accuracy and quality, we cannot guarantee the following:

• That all profile information, photos, or descriptions provided by companions are 100% accurate, current, or complete
• That reviews and ratings reflect the full picture of a companion's service quality
• That all companions will meet your specific expectations or requirements
• That the platform will be available 24/7 without interruption, errors, or security breaches
• That AI-powered chat monitoring will catch every instance of inappropriate communication

We encourage users to communicate openly through in-app chat before booking to verify details, set expectations, and ensure mutual compatibility.

Hamrah is designed and operated with deep respect for Pakistani culture and Islamic values:

• All services are intended to be halal — lawful, ethical, and in accordance with Islamic principles of respectful social interaction
• We prohibit any activity that contradicts Islamic values, Pakistani law, or community standards of decency
• The platform is designed for legitimate social companionship: travel, events, shopping, dining, city tours, professional networking, and similar activities
• Users from all faiths and backgrounds are welcome, provided they respect the cultural framework within which Hamrah operates

However, Hamrah is a technology platform, not a religious authority. We do not provide fatwas, religious rulings, or spiritual guidance. Users should consult their own religious advisors if they have questions about the permissibility of specific activities.

We invest significantly in safety infrastructure, including:

• CNIC + selfie identity verification for all companions
• AI-powered chat monitoring for inappropriate content
• Real-time GPS tracking during in-person sessions (with consent)
• In-app SOS emergency button
• Secure escrow payment system
• Double-blind review system to prevent bias
• 24/7 safety team monitoring

Important: Despite these measures, no platform can guarantee absolute safety. Safety technology can deter and detect many risks, but it cannot prevent all possible harmful situations. Users must exercise personal judgment and caution at all times.

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of Pakistan:

• Hamrah shall NOT be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from user interactions, bookings, or platform usage
• We are not liable for any loss, injury, harm, or damage resulting from meetings or interactions between users
• We are not liable for unauthorized access to your account if you fail to secure your credentials
• We are not liable for content posted by users, including profile information, reviews, or messages
• We are not liable for temporary platform unavailability, technical errors, or data loss

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which liability is asserted (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise).

The Hamrah platform may integrate with or link to third-party services, including:

• Payment Processors: Stripe, Safepay, and other payment gateways process financial transactions under their own terms and privacy policies
• Maps & Navigation: Google Maps or similar services may be used for location features
• Communication: WebRTC technology powers our voice and video calling features
• Analytics: Google Analytics and similar tools help us understand platform usage

We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of such services is governed by their respective terms.

We reserve the right to update this Disclaimer at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email notification and/or an in-app announcement. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent changes were made.
